News of memorandum hand over to Prime Minister

Mr. Raju Ram Bhul president of RHMM handed over a memorandum to Rt. Honorable Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal on Jesth 5, 2066 (June 19, 2009) at the Prime Minister’s Office in Singhdurabar, Kathmandu. This programme was jointly organized by Nepal National Dalit Social Welfare Organization (NNDSWO) and Rastiya Haliya Mukti Samajh Mahashang (RHMM).
Rt. Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal expressed his commitment for the implementation of focused progarmme for Freed Haliya. He immediately ordered to his secretary to forward the demands of freed Haliya to the Finance Ministry, Ministry for Peace and Reconstruction for implementation.

 

 
 

On the programme Mr. Raju Ram Bhul president of RHMM requested to the Prime Minister to take the issue of freed Haliya seriously. Bhakta Bishwakarma, the National President of NNDSWO, presented the initiatives made by the former government and other organizations for the emancipation of Haliya and the progress made to date after declaration of freed Haliya

The Role CA Member and Stakeholder for Sustainable Rehabilitation of Freed Haliya"

NNDSWO organized one day interaction workshop on "The Role CA Member and Stakeholder for Sustainable Rehabilitation of Freed Haliya" on the occasion of 100 days of the announced of free for Haliya by the Government of Nepal in Kathmandu on 21 Dec 2008 at United World Trade Center, Tripureshwar.

The objective of the workshop was to build solidarity and seek commitments from CA members and key stakeholder for their sustainable rehabilitation and to sensitize to the civil society organizations and influencing individuals in the issue.In the program Mr. Trilok Chan Biswas VK, the General Secretary of NNDSWO facilitated the programme. Mr. Bhakta Bishwokarma, the National President,
 
presented the initiatives made by the government and other organizations for the emancipation of Haliya and the progress made during the period of 100 days.The Chief guest Honorable, Minister for Labour and Transportation, Mr. Lekh Raj Bhatta expressed his commitment and also informed about the initiatives that he has made. In the programme, the CA members and guests expressed their commitment and solidarity for the sustainable rehabilitation of freed Haliyas.

National President of NNDSWO Awarded as Youth Ambassador for Peace

The National President of NNDSWO, Mr. Bhakta Bishwakarma is honored by the Youth Ambassador for Peace Award on 2nd August, 2008. The Youth Federation for World Peace-Nepal (YFWP), the sister organization of the Universal Peace Federation, felicitated him.

He is honored by recognizing his contribution for the upliftment of the Dalit community in Nepal. The award was handed over jointly by Honorable Dhana Raj Gurung, the Member of Constituent Assembly and Mr. Vishwa Prakash Sharma, Vice-President of YFWP and the youth leader of Nepali Congress.

In the program, Mr. Santosh Kumar Pandey, the Vice President of Youth Federation for World Peace-Nepal highlighted on the importance of organizing the program and informed about organization. YFWP was established in 1995 in Nepal.
